Sometimes you just need a little extra Monday motivation … am I right?

In 2020 I was considering a series entitled, "Heroes of Childhood". Without anything resembling a game plan, I jumped into with one of my earliest favorites—E.T. I just love how the texture of the colored pencil over the oil wash came out. You get a hint of it in the scan, but it’s quite lovely to see in person. He now sits proudly over my work table as a reminder to do my best and treat myself kindly in the process.
